    My name is Ariana Johnson. I have a background in psychology and Spirituality. Currently I work at aN innovative Day Program, designed to support the participant’s behavioral needs while providing vocational training opportunities as well as opportunities for socialization and community integration. Participants have intellectual as well as developmental disabilities. I prepare staff at the beginning of the day with a mindfulness activity. I would like to better understand this practice and learn more to enhance the mindfulness practices with staff.

    Hi everyone! I am a second year master psychology student from Croatia. I actively incorporate mindfulness and yoga practices in my everyday life. My master thesis is focusing upon research on mindfulness in the context of partner and romantic relationships and I aspire to be both practitioner and reasercher of this topic.     I’m Katie, from a rural area in southwestern Ontario, Canada! I am a social work student in mental health counselling (only two months left and I’ll be a full blown practitioner!).     Hi, I’m from Devon in the U.K. and have been practicing for over 20 years. I teach retreats in the most beautiful centre in Devon called Sharpham Trust.     Je suis française et vis en France. J’ai vécu aux Etats- Unis dans les années 80 pendant 8 ans. Là j’ai suivi des enseignements ” Shambala” .
    La méditation, “repos de l’esprit” est une pratique quotidienne. Une amie m’a parlé de votre organisation.
    Comme je ne peux pas beaucoup me déplacer et ne dispose que de revenus très modestes, recevoir des enseignements en ligne est plus accessible. L’apprentissage du chemin se fait au quotidien: Je suis toujours une débutante Un grand merci pour votre travail et à tous ces enseignants.

    Donna Norris from Oregon coast. We are working on Resilient Learners in our district professional development, and many educators in the school district are also using mindfulness techniques. The two practices seem to fit together well. Learning more specific activities and specific strategies will be useful.
